Amazon Inspire

Amazon is making a splash. They've announced Amazon Inspire, an online education resources (OER) platform for teachers. This site will source free learning materials for students from kindergarten to twelfth grade.

Inspire will let users sort content by relevance, user ratings and popularity.

Minecraft test drive for you!

Following up on its promises from January, Microsoft today released a free trial of Minecraft Education Edition – the version of Minecraft meant for use in the classroom – to educators worldwide. This “early access” version of the program includes new features and updated classroom content and curriculum, the company also says (Perez, 2016).
