Where did that download go from the internet? I can't find it. AHHHHHHH!
When downloading a document or image from the web, it automatically
downloads to a location on your computer. Your computer default location is the Downloads folder.
To access this folder open a Windows Explorer window - from the Computer icon on the desktop or the folder icon on the taskbar - and locate the Downloads folder.
If you'd like the downloads to go to somewhere else other than the Downloads
folder or perhaps you'd like to have them go to various locations....not a problem!!!
When using Chrome....here you go:
- Chrome -
- Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
- Select Settings.
- Scroll down and click the Show advanced settings link at the bottom of the page.
- Scroll down to the Downloads section.
- To change the default download location, click Change and navigate to the folder where you'd like your files to be saved. Click OK
- If you'd rather choose a specific location for each download, select the 'Ask where to save each file before downloading' checkbox.
